Formerly known as Yves Saint Laurent, this collection is nothing about what the design house had been famous for. The runway seems to be an intersection in Silver Lake, California. Grunge + Rock 'n Roll + Bohe-Chic + Unexpected Jeune-Sophistication... Each look may have been cohesive, but the collection circles that intersection lost in direction. It isn't what we've come to think of YSL, but this is now Hedi Slimane's Saint Laurent. With a bit of disappointment, I must remove "favorite" from our picks.
